How to enter

Step 1: Your identification

Give yourself an identifying name, using either your actual first and last name or a made-up name.

Step 2: Figure out the answers

Number your answers and supply just the Japanese word answer.

You may use this online dictionary or any other dictionary.

Step 3: Submit your answers

  • Create a new email to: contest@englishjapaneseonlinedictionary.com
  • In the subject header write "Puzzle Contest "
  • In the body, write your answers
  • Be sure to use the same ID name, whether real or fictitious, each time so we can keep track of your score
  • Send

Step 4: Awarding of points

Anyone who gets all the words correct will have their names added to the standings list. If you don't see your name on the standings list withing one week, please re-check your answers and resubmit.

Step 5: Check the World-wide standings

The names of the all submitters with correct answers will be published on this website once a week.

A new puzzle will be placed on this page each week.

Any player who achieves any 'black belt' level status will have their name enshrined on our Black Belt Hall of Fame.

This contest is open to people of all nations and ages. The decision of our judges will be final.
