Welcome to EJOD's Manga PageManga (漫画) is the Japanese word for comics and print cartoons. Outside of Japan, it refers specifically to comics originally published in Japan, or works of a similar style. Native Japanese are often unaware of the use of Manga to refer to Japanese comics specifically. Our goal for this part of the English Japanese Online Dictionary is to promote the learning of Japanese language through Japanese manga--specifically our own home-grown manga. We hope you enjoy reading it, and learning more about the Japanese language.
